You will only see this special large bisque a couple of times per decade. Mickey is 5 3/4 inches tall.
He is in the best condition that I have ever seen this rare beauty!
No chips, no paint rubbed off and even the gold in his French horn is as fresh as I have ever seen, yet, it still retains the original gold in that paint that occurs over the 80 years since he was originally painted in Japan.
The pair of Minnie playing the violin and Mickey playing the golden French horn we’re not made in the millions like their 3 1/2 inch brothers and sisters. These were made in much smaller numbers. So, they are rare.
