    Description

This is a small pocket knife, approximately 3.5 inches closed, 6 inches open. Found it in a dry creek bed in 1987 when I was 7 years old walking home from school. It has a picture of Mickey Mouse on it, as well as the words "WORLD FAIR CHICAGO 1933" in all caps, black font. The other side of the handle is blank. Materials appear to be types of metal and plastic. Has some scratches, dings. "USA" is stamped on the blade, on the metal, right near the hinge. Despite this knife having the year 1933 etched into the handle, legend has it that it was likely produced in the late 1960s/ early 1970s, as an unlicensed piece of Disney memorabilia intended to fool collectors before the internet existed. Blade may or may not be original.
